Fantasies
are called that because in the fantasy there is no consequence—and that truly
is a fantasy because everything in real life has consequences.
I recently
heard a discourse about sexual fantasies and how unreal they are. The speaker
advised: “If you really want to fantasize, think it all the way through. Don’t
just fantasize your lust, think about the aftermath, when you get exposed…when
you strain relationships and break your loved ones hearts…when you suffer guilt…when
you endure embarrassment. Because in reality, all those bad effects and more
will follow after you act on your fantasy."
